Dr. Rana earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). Before that, he graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario, where he was named to the Dean’s Honour List and spent time on exchange at Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to his chiropractic training, Dr. Rana holds a personal training certification from canfitpro. His academic foundation in health sciences and kinesiology has equipped him with a strong understanding of human biomechanics, exercise physiology, and injury prevention.
Dr. Rana’s journey into health care began as one of the youngest volunteers at Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, where he worked with children facing life-threatening illnesses. This early experience was pivotal in shaping his desire to help others heal and inspired his career in health care.

For several years, Dr. Rana has worked as a Certified Personal Trainer, helping clients achieve their fitness and rehabilitation goals. His background in personal training, combined with his chiropractic expertise, allows him to design personalized treatment plans that integrate both hands-on therapies and structured exercise regimens.

As a former national field hockey athlete, Dr. Rana represented Canada internationally as part of the Men’s U21 and U23 National Teams. His years in high-performance athletics have given him a deep understanding of the physical and mental demands of sport. This experience is invaluable in his chiropractic practice, where he applies his expertise in sports therapy to help patients—ranging from weekend warriors to professional athletes—optimize their movement, prevent injuries, and enhance performance.

Dr. Rana has also contributed to sports as a coach and athletic trainer. As an Assistant Coach for the University of Western Ontario’s Women’s Varsity Field Hockey Team, he developed training programs and provided performance feedback over four years. Additionally, his experience as a medic and athletic trainer for junior football teams further honed his skills in managing acute injuries and understanding the demands of competitive sports.
